Malaysia shoes designer which based in the United Kingdom. Datuk Jimmy Choo
Chinese name in Pin Yin which is Zhou Yang Jie. Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat was born
in November 15, 1948 in the George Town of Penang in Malaysia. His father, Choo
Kee Yin which was a cobbler. The son of the shoe cobbler was steep in the world
of shoemaking from an early age. Based on the life of Datuk Jimmy Choo, his
father can be conducted as a teacher who was taught him on how to design and
make a shoes. Besides, Datuk Jimmy Choo’s father Choo Kee Yin was a proud and
fair man. His father also owns a shoes shop which is located in the Penang
road. Besides, the things that Datuk Jimmy Choo learn from his father which is
used the craftsmanship to design the most coveted shoes in the world.

In the childhood of Datuk Jimmy Choo, Datuk Jimmy Choo was
live in the Penang and attended his primary school which his primary school
name is Shih Chung in the Love Lane, Penang. Moreover,
Datuk Jimmy Choo had complete design his first shoes very young. Due to under
his father expert guidance, he had make his first shoes at the age of 11, in
1959. The expert guidance which Datuk Jimmy Choo face was his father don’t not
let him to make and design a shoe. By the way, Datuk Jimmy Choo father Choo Kee
Yin said to his son that “Sit and watch, sit and watch. After Datuk Jimmy Choo
had learning the craft of shoemaking from his father, he had made his way to
England.
In the adulthood of Datuk Jimmy Choo, Datuk Jimmy Choo had
gone to Britain university which was Cord Technical College in Hackney which
can be define as the “London College of Fashion”. In the life schooling of
Datuk Jimmy Choo, he had working several part time job such as cleaner in the
shoe factory in order to pay the bills of school and more. By the way, Datuk
Jimmy Choo had finish his study and graduated in year of 1983.
After graduated in the college, Datuk Jimmy Choo had decided
to stay in England because of the cobblers who use material to design and made
the shoes, as opposed in the 12th-century Britain to denote artisans who made
shoes from new leather. Datuk Jimmy Choo had started his career which was his
first foot-wear design was been sold in the year 1984 which under the brand
name of Lucky Shoes. Due to this incident, Datuk Jimmy Choo had decided to
opened his first shop in Hackney which is located in an old hospital building
in year 1986.

been working hard to match individual tastes design and color scheme in his
early work.

the British company ‘Vogue’ which is the accessories editor had taken off the
design of Datuk Jimmy Choo shoes as international brand. The Tamara Yeardye
Mello had also hired Datuk Jimmy Choo as shoes fashion designer which is for
fashion shoots. In addition, Tamara Yeardye Mellon had partnering and planning
to create a line of ready-to-wear footwear.

Datuk Jimmy Choo had selling 50% of his product which is 10 million. Moreover,
Datuk Jimmy Choo started to focused on his own design and almost entirely on
the ‘Jimmy Choo Couture’ line, but the company stills remain under the control
of Mellon. The ready to wear is also the idea of Mellon which is the
responsibility of Mellon, and had this line to include other accessories which
are handbags, sunglasses and more. Besides, Datuk Jimmy Choo and Mellon also
grew as a business partner and contracted to start their new business which is
the first boutique shop in London.
In the year 1990, Datuk Jimmy Choo stores in New York and Los
Angeles due to lineup of adoring Hollywood celebrities which also included
Julia Roberts and Renne Zellweger.
In the year of 2001, Datuk Jimmy Choo sold half of the
company to Robert Bensoussan for $30 million due to Datuk Jimmy Choo do not
think that bigger is better, Datuk Jimmy Choo just need to ensure all the
quality of shoes making. In addition, Datuk Jimmy Choo rather to work in his
small opportunity in Hackney which only design small amount to shoes for
specific customers.
